My writing generally entails taking complex ideas, often from a range
of sources, and turning them into concise copy that is free from jargon
and easy to understand by the intended audience. I am happy to tackle
most subjects, from cross-linking mechanisms in polymer systems to
the bizarre mating habits of slugs; from new advances in machine vision
to novel uses for recycled glass.
Over the years I have written for many diverse publications, including
national newspapers such as the Independent and the Financial Times.
I have also written for many in-house publications for a number of
government and commercial organisations and universities. Publications
include newsletters, research reports, annual reports and promotional
literature.
I am happy to attend conferences or meetings to produce rapid, readable reports of the proceedings.
